ABOUT US

Memphis Chinese School (MCS) has been serving the Memphis Community for over a decade. It is well-known for a very challenging curriculum, excellent teachers, a dedicated administrative team and a well-run school environment.

MCS is more than just a Chinese language school. Our students receive the commitment and dedication of an entire community focused on the worth of each individual to be a productive and well-respected citizen.

Our campus

The school environment supports student learning and welcomes families. The campus is located safely away from busy traffic and features ample parking space. Outdoors, there are also a playground for children to enjoy during class breaks and paved sidewalks for parents to take walks. Inside, the recently built classrooms are neat and equipped with furniture and white boards, and all building facilities are suitable for children's needs. While classes are in session, two dedicated rooms are available for parents to use for relaxing and conversation. Additionally, the school always considers students' health needs and gladly makes adjustments to ensure all students have the opportunity to achieve. Board members and teen volunteers are present every week as well to keep students safe and to address any concerns.

TEACHING

We currently offer Chinese Pre-K to 7, SAT Math, SAT Grammar & Reading, Art I and III, Chinese as a Second Language, English Writing 4~5 and 7~8, Computer Programming, Algebra I, Math 5-6 and Geometry, Dance I and II, Yoga (Adult), Middle School Competition Math, and Wushu classes.
